Bandana of the Month Club bandana. A geometric pattern in shades of indigo on a silver grid, this is a coverlet weaving pattern from the 18th century by German court weaver Johann Frickinger. Coverlets were used as woven bedcovers using a linen warp and a woolen weft. Often the yarn was dyed with indigo, madder or walnut. It is 100% Japanese cotton, made in the USA and is printed using eco-friendly, water-based inks.
The bandana is folded and hand-hemmed on three sides, with the forth being the selvedge edge of the material, as is traditional.
Size: 23" x 23" (59cm x 59cm).
